History of Kid's Town Montessori School
In 1998, Mehrmah Hodaee purchased a medium-sized traditional preschool in Arlington, Texas. She was the director/owner of the pre-school in Arlington for almost 3 years before she and her daughter Mahsa sold the school and relocated to the San Diego, CA area. It was their vision to build a Montessori school in San Diego.
Both Merhmah and Mahsa are firm believers in the Montessori philosophy. They believe that children need the structure and order that the Montessori classroom provides, and thrive in the multiple-age preschool classroom. They wanted to build a school where children could express their individuality in the classroom.
After 4 years of planning and construction, Kid’s Town Montessori School opened its doors in September of 2007.
The school continues to grow and plans to add elementary classrooms in the future.
