Why Kid's Town Montessori School?
Kid’s Town Montessori school is a state-of-the-art Montessori facility serving children ages 1 to 6 years. Currently, Kid’s Town has 3 primary rooms (3-6), a pre-primary room (2-3), and a toddler room (1-2 years). We are considering adding elementary school rooms as needed. We offer, half-day, extended-day and full-day programs. By-the-hour- childcare is available after 3pm for daycare if your child is not enrolled in the full-day program.
The daycare and preschool facility is completely fenced in and both buildings are equipped with a password security system for the safety of all of the children. Sign-in and sign out is mandatory for all students, whether they are dropped off or participate in the car line. All of the preschool’s classrooms are equipped with web cams so you can look in on your child at work or play.
A variety of carefully prepared, healthy, fresh lunches of kid-friendly food are delivered to the classrooms daily. All food is fresh and prepared on site by Kid’s Town staff. Your child may bring their own lunch if they wish. Monthly calendars are posted.
Each classroom contains a variety of age-appropriate Montessori materials. All of our lead teachers are Montessori certified, and most have many years of experience in the Montessori classroom.
Kid’s town is proud to offer two park-sized playground structures, sand boxes and other playground equipment to allow for use of gross motor skills. Many of the teachers plant gardens with the students on the grounds of the school, as part of the science experience.
As part of the curriculum, Kid’s Town Montessori School offers Spanish language classes to the primary room students. Enrichment classes, such as sports, dancing, karate, etc. are also available for additional fees.
All lead teachers and most of the assistant teachers are Montessori certified. Kid’s Town has a low turnover rate for teachers. |
