My child has allergies. Can he/she attend Kid’s Town?

KTMS allows students with severe allergies to participate in the program. However, we are not a peanut-free school. If your child has specific allergies, it is your responsibility to be in touch with the teacher to communicate about dietary issues. Although we follow your instructions, Kid’s Town does not take responsibility for any allergic reactions your child may have.

Do you have a car line so I don’t have to leave my car to drop my child off?

KTMS offers a car line in which your child will be brought to your car, and you will be able to sign them out. Drop off times for carpool children are 8:15 – 8:30 am, 11:45 -12:00pm and 2:45-3:00pm.

Do you administer medication?

KTMS does not administer any medication without a note from your child’s doctor. We do not have a medical professional on staff.

Does my child have to take a nap?

According to state law, all children under the age of 5 are required to take an afternoon nap. At age 4.5, you may write a note to excuse your child from the nap if he normally does not take one.

What is the policy on children who are sick?

Any child with a fever of 100.4 or higher will be isolated from the group and have to be picked up by a parent immediately. Students must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to the school.
